A 16-year-old student from Palotti High School was almost abducted on Friday morning. The first news of it came out on this morning’s Krem WUB by Albert personality Karen Adolphus. With Karen’s assistance, we found the mother who wished not to be identified but who did explain her daughter’s narrow escape on Friday morning.
Mother of Teen Girl,
“She usually takes South Creek to go to school towards the boulevard. At about 7:05 she said a guy came up in a white car. Three persons were in the car she said and they had stockings on their faces and they opened the passenger side of the car and they told her to get in. she avoided them and she went to the other side of the street.
When she went to the next side of the street, the vehicle went across the street to block her. One of the guys from the back passenger side behind the driver came out of the vehicle and grabbed her school bag. When they grabbed her school bag, the school bag let go to the front from her and she ran from there and they told her next time they will get her. She says she doesn’t know the person and the person had a stocking on their face and they didn’t have on any shirt. Three persons were in the vehicle. She said she saw one at the back and two at the front.
I am not surprised because with the things that are happening right now, you can’t take your mind off of anything happening right about now. I am surprised what happened to my daughter because she is not one of those type who is outgoing.
Of course she wants me to take her to school and with the risk I have to take, I have to pay taxi. I have to hire a taxi to up and down to take her to school and that is costing me. That is costing because I have three kids in high school. It doesn’t make any sense.
My advice to parents is if you could do it, take your kids to school, at least the female kids, take them to school, because with the things happening right now, it is not easy.”

“I think everybody, all of us, have to be aware and watch our children. We need to start notice our children and when our children tell us something, believe them. Not everything they tell us is a lie. So I want you to know that yes it is true that they did want to run off with that little girl and I liked that the mother sat down and talked to you through me because the mother would have never talked to you but I told her she had to talk about it.”
From what we have been able to determine, the CIB Office has not received a report of the attempted abduction.
