High Speed Collision on Western Highway

A Belize City woman is lucky to be alive after a high-speed collision with a bus this afternoon.

Around 4:30, she was heading to Belize City in an Isuzu Stylus when she lost control, veered off the side of the road, and spun back on. The compact car careened across the highway and the back of it made glancing contact across the front of a westbound bus.

The bus was not damaged at all, but the car was flung off the highway.
