It's been 15 Months since we've heard anything about the $7.6 million that were allegedly stolen from BTL during a Belize to U.S. currency exchange. In a rare release from the Office of the Commissioner of Police there is indication that sometime in November of this year the BTL case file was handed over to the police from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions with further directives. Those directives were that more investigations need to be done on the matter. The release states that as soon as those are completed the files will again be handed over to the DPP's office to continue the process.
