He is a lay minister in the Anglican Church and is the principal of the Anglican School in Flower’s Bank Village and today 41-year-old Clifford “Barry” White was convicted for assaulting a student. White was accused of punching an 11-year-old female student on March 28th at St. Stephens Primary School where he is the principal.

The student Deeuna Moses told Magistrate Aretha Ford that white punched her in the stomach because she refused to tie her shoelaces. White disputed the charges but today he was convicted of harm and ordered to pay $500 by November or he’ll spend 5 months in jail.

This is White’s second conviction for harm this year. In June he was convicted of beating his wife in her head with a hammer. We were unable to the general manager of Anglican Schools Carol Babb for comment.
