Taxi Driver Found Shot to Death in Corozal Cane Field

And while police will try and bring charges for those murders in the city, there are two more to report tonight, one in Corozal and the other in Placencia.

First, in Corozal at 8:00 yesterday morning, police visited an abandoned cane field about just north of Kanlum Village, which is near to Miable in the Corozal District where they found 50 year old taxi driver Eduardo Samos, dead from a gunshot wound to the left side of his face. The body was discovered by a cane farmer who was passing the area. He is believed to have been killed the day before. His vehicle has still not been found.
