Last night we told you about a driver for a delivery truck who was robbed at gunpoint. Today a high-schooler was charged for the crime. Eighteen year old Clement Bol of number 128 Cemetery Road was charged with robbery and aggravated assault. Police believe that he was one of two young men who held up Belize Refrigeration employee Wayne Ramclam around ten thirty on Wednesday morning. Ramclam told police that as one of the robbers pointed a gun to his face the other took his wallet and stole ninety five dollars of his employer’s money and some personal documents.
When Clement Bol was escorted over to Magistrate’s Court, he pleaded not guilty but Magistrate Albert Hoare explained to him that the court cannot offer him bail because the offences were committed with a firearm. Bol was remanded to the Belize Central Prison in Hattieville until September twenty second when he is scheduled to reappear in court.
At the time of the robbery Wayne Ramclam was along with his side man Omar Wade making deliveries on Antelope Street Extension.
