Well known street figure - 29 year old Jeffery "REDNIN" Flowers - was shot up on Friday afternoon near Minister of Housing Michael Finnegan's Amara Street office.
So far, police have arrested and charged 28 year old Jason Joseph - a security guard of King Street - for attempted murder, dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm.
Flowers was standing on Amara Avenue between King and Dean Street - when a gunman approached him from the direction of King Street and opened fire. He was shot to the right side of his chest, left side of his back, right side of his buttocks, left arm and lower abdomen. Flowers is listed in a critical but stable condition at the KHMH.
29 year old Flowers has spent more than half his life in prison - and has been arrested numerous times, most recently for a bank robbery in Orange Walk earlier this year, but despite all that he maintains he is simply being harassed by police.
