Moving on now to our final story tonight, it begs the question, "How much can one family take?"
Chris Lowe - the grieving father of Jasmine Lowe - had his home burglarized over the weekend.
He told us that apart from stealing valuable items and his peace of mind, the also tainted some of Jasmine's personal possessions. Here's his account:..
Chris Lowe
"It appears that it happen around 2 in the morning because my neighbors say they heard the dogs barking, I vaguely did, I worked all day and I was very tired and watched a movie until around 1. I usually wake up easy but I was dead tired."
Monica Bodden
"So while sleeping someone entered your home and what happen after that? What did they do?"
Chris Lowe
"I woke up about 6 this morning and I saw some drawers open, that was odd and then I saw the back door open which was very odd. Then I started looking around and I notice that my camera and all my daughters' photos were missing, my cell phone with all my numbers is missing and her jewelry box with everything was scattered on my back steps. From my wallet they took about $162.00. I had just put in $100

in there to pay my worker today. My power saw was also missing. It's really weird; I've gone through enough already. Some people speculate that it might be related. I don't know, I have no idea about that. But I've gone through enough. No one has even bothered my house in all the years I've been here. It's a safe neighborhood, now one block from my home my daughter was abducted in the middle of the day and now I have to put some dead bolts on my doors. They also took my weed eater from the back of my truck, I don't lock my truck. It's such a safe neighborhood that I don't even think about locking my truck or putting my tools away because I was tired. That's my main tools; my weed eater, my truck and my washing machine."
Monica Bodden
"One might say how much can you take? You think you are being targeted?"
Chris Lowe
"I don't think so, for what, I don't know. I've heard a lot of malicious rumors and gossip that is really sick. I forgive people for that, if you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all. I've gone through hell as it is and like I said on channels before we need to get back to the old days, we need motivation for our children, make sure we care about where they are going, make sure we are friends and watch each other's back. Anyone that really know me - even Albert August doesn't really know me well but everyone see me with my daughter and sees how happy she was and everyone that knows me know that I would never harm my daughter to begin with, in any kind of way - sexually or physically or anything. I heard of big insurance policies that don't exist - just ridiculous stuff. She was everything I had, she was my life and I was told to be careful that if I go to my farm somebody would kill me. I don't care about death at this point. I lost everything that I had to live for. She was everything to me, my total life - my nurse, my companion, my friend, my student everything she was to me."
Correciton: the burglary happened earlier this morning.
As we noted earlier on in the news - the action continues in the Cayo district tomorrow as multiple protests are planned to coincide with the detention of a key suspect.
