Weekend's Shooting Victim is Weekday's Alleged Killer

About 7 weeks ago, 29 year-old Frank Vasquez was shot on Neal Penn Road; he succumbed to his injuries 4 days later. Today, his allegedly shooter, 23 year-old Byron James was taken to Magistrate's Court.

James was arraigned before Magistrate Hettie Mae Stuart for murder, and he was remanded to prison until August 5. Notably, James was shot over the weekend as he walked on Faber's Road Extension.

On Saturday, May 5, 29 year old Frank Vasquez was shot to the face, left shoulder and back - he died on May 9th.
