NEMO is reporting that last weekend's rains caused flooding in the Belize, Cayo, and Stann Creek Districts. According to NEMO, culverts near mile 32 on the Northern Highway, mile 28 Western Highway, and mile 40 on the Old Northern Highway have all suffered damages.

In Stann Creek, the villages of Hope Creek and Sarawee experienced flooding, and so did the low-lying areas of Dangriga Town. The Valley Road between miles 4 and 5 was temporarily cut off earlier today, because of the entire road flooding with as much of 10 inches of water.

Currently, the Mullins River Bridge is impassable.
