41-year-old Roberto Cordova lost his life in a traffic accident on Tuesday. It happened when a vehicle and a motorcycle collided near the Thunderbird Marina junction on the Placencia road. Today police told us that investigations have yet to determine the exact circumstances of the collision.

"On Tuesday the 18th day of February 2020 Placencia police responded to a traffic accident between miles 21 and 22 on the Placencia road. Upon their arrival, they observed a four-door ford fusion car on the right-hand side of the road. And a black motorcycle was seen partially under the car. Investigation revealed that the vehicle and the motorcycle were travelling into opposite directions when they collided at some point on the road. As a result, the driver of the motorcycle so came to his injuries. He was identified as Roberto Cordova, 41 years."
