Cowo also gave an update on that carjacking on the Black Rock road in the Cayo District which we told you about yesterday.
As we told you Alejandro Uk was driving on Black Rock Road when he was held up by four armed men on a motorcycle. Cowo fills in the blanks from there:

"He was forced out of the vehicle, where he was tied and thrown into the bushes. The persons fled with the vehicle. Mr. Uck managed to untie himself and as a result visited the police and made a report. Shortly after in the evening, police visited an area in Calla Creek where they found the said wingle that was stolen from him along with a chainsaw and a black in color motorcycle. No one was in the area."

"Is there an indication that the vehicle being where it was they were trying to smuggle it across the border? We know that Calla Creek is adjoining Guatemala."

"Well yes, that is something that we believe and I know that police is looking for a suspect that lives within that area."

"I understand that the vehicle was unable to continue, it bogged or something."

"Yes, because of the terrain and also there was no key in the vehicle."
