Tonight, a family from the Toledo Village of San Miguel continues to be displaced after their wooden home completely burnt down on Friday evening. A 28-year-old mother and her two children managed to escape the blaze, but reports are that she suffered first-degree burns on her hands because she was trying to save important identity documents for her family.
The family lost everything in the blaze, and we are told that the man of the household only managed to save her butane stove and her sofa. This morning, the Head of the National Criminal Investigations Branch granted an interview to the press, and he shared a few more details about the incident:
Today, we contacted the family for comment, but they were unable to comment due to the emotional distress that they are currently going through.
