
A 22-year-old man will have to answer to murder charges in court. Ronaldo Ack, of Bella Vista Village, Toledo is accused of killing 26-year-old Humberto Vasquez Ramos, a security guard of Santa Cruz Village, Stann Creek.
The victim was reportedly at work at a cement block factory when he was assaulted sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Yesterday, Assistant Commissioner of police stated their investigation uncovered plenty of evidence.

"On Thursday last, sometime around 7:45 am police were called to a block factory in Santa Cruz Village in the Stann Creek District, where upon arrival they observed the body of a Hispanic male with multiple chop wounds and he was later identified as Humberto Vasquez Ramos, 26-years Guatemalan caretaker of the block factory. Police have since carried out an investigation and we have one suspect in our custody. Also a machete with blood stains was recovered along with a bicycle also with blood stains and a T-shirt that was soaked in blood was also recovered by police so it is expected sometime later today charges will be levied against that person that we have in our custody."
