Tonight, the family of 24-year-old Rafael Patrick Garrido, a resident of Ladyville, is concerned about his wellbeing because he's been missing for 5 days now. Reports to 7News are that the last time his family members saw him was last Wednesday.
Since then, no one has heard from him, and so his family reported him missing to the police. This morning, the cops briefly discussed his case with the press:
Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero - Deputy Head, NCIB
"On Saturday last, Rafael Garrido was reported missing by his sister. The information we have so far gathered is that he was dropped at mile 31 on the Philip Goldson Highway on Wednesday last, and he has not been seen since. At this time, we are conducting an investigation and several searches are being made to try and locate him?"
Reporter
"Does the family know what was his intended reason for going to that location, sir?"
Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero
"He was dropped off there by another person after they came from Orange Walk, that day."
"The investigation shows that they went to Orange Walk to conduct some sort of transaction, and then, he was dropped off there by that male person thereafter."
Reporter
"The person who dropped him off, has the police gotten in contact with him?"

Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero
"Yes, he has been interviewed, and a statement has been recorded from him."
Reporter
"Are there any details as to what exactly they went to do in Orange Walk?"
Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero
"We'll not release any details, other than that we are conducting an investigation to find out what transpired."
