Independence village's Wagner family has spent the better part of two days searching the waters near Placencia, Malacate beach, and Monkey River but have found only a few odd pieces of clothing of their brother, husband, and uncle Karl Wagner who they're convinced is dead.
You'll remember that Karl, who has been missing since Friday left a Marina in Independence to head to sea on his own; that's something his family says he'd never done before.
And this evening their desperate search for his body ended once more in failure.
The family, weary from searching had no choice but to return to their village only to plan for another day of searching tomorrow - in what they now believe is a recovery, not a rescue mission.
