This morning, the police's communications officer commented on investigations into this latest Hyde murder.
He told the press that initial investigation suggests that he recently had disagreements with individuals from the area where he was killed:
ASP Fitzroy Yearwood - Communications Officer
"The motive is not known as yet, but this took place sometime around 5 o'clock, between 5 and 5:30 in the evening. So, it was still fairly clear, and we're hoping that our investigators could identify who that assailant is. Or maybe, our witnesses could come forward and assist us in this unfortunate shooting."
"From what I have gathered so far, some time not too long ago, he had some - what we would say - conflict with some persons from that very neighborhood. I think this area is known as the 'Hattieville' Area of Roaring Creek, where he may have been approached by persons of interest to us now that he has lost his life."

"Sir, is it of interest to the investigators that maybe he doesn't normally go to that location?"
ASP Fitzroy Yearwood
"As I said, we are definitely looking at that angle because anybody in their right mind, knowing that you have - what to say, I wouldn't want to use the wrong word - problems with people in a certain neighborhood, I don't think you would want to be testy to go in that area, knowing what the end result could be. That is why our investigators are paying that particular interest."
