And while terror played out on the southside - up in South Beach, Miami - the Minster of Home Affairs, Kareem Musa and his CEO Kevin Arthurs were styling and profiling, mugging for photos with basketball legend Scottie Pippen and even, apparently, going yachting with him - as we see in the status posts from CEO Arthurs.
Musa and Arthurs were in South Florida for the Fireside Chat, a panel discussion for the Diaspora which took place on Friday.
UDP Party Whip - AKA the 13th Leader of the Opposition - Shyne Barrow was also there for that event, and when the chat was over he definitely did a "win, win, win" with this weekend's celebrity stunting. The rapper turned politician and his brother Anwar were hosted at the Miami home of DJ Khaled of "We the Best Music" fame. Shyne has picked up major traction in this recent tour of the US - gaining an endorsement even from Nicki Minaj on her Instagram Live - sent out to her 160 million followers.
