A 58-year-old man is on remand tonight for allegedly sexually assaulting a 22-year-old woman. The man, Byron Broaster, an unemployed resident of Belize City, appeared unrepresented in the Magistrate's Court today and was read a single charge of sexual assault. He pleaded not guilty but was denied bail.
Reports are that on December 8th, Broaster slapped the woman on her behind and told her he did it because, quote, "it looked delicious." End quote.
He will be back in court on February 16, 2022.
