And the third man to be killed on Friday was 33-year-old Virgil Coburn. Coburn was standing inside a friend's yard in Belama Phase 1 around 9pm waiting for food to be delivered. A vehicle then stopped in front of the yard and someone from inside fired several shots at him. Today the police gave a brief statement on his murder, but we must note that the communications officer, ASP Fitzroy Yearwood made an error when he said that Coburn was at his own residence. Here's what ASP Yearwood explained:
ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Officer

"In Belama area, Belama phase 1, he was somewhere in front of his residence when he was also approached by a lone gunman who opened fire on him, fatally injuring him. I must say that our investigators have gathered useful information that they believe could lead to the identity of these assailants."
Coburn reportedly frequently visited that home. According to a neighbor, he was not known to trouble anyone.
