Police Bust Shotgun and Sativa

Police found a stash of drugs and an illegal weapon in Roaring Creek Village.

This morning between 4:00 AM and 12 noon, police teams conducted a joint operation within the Belmopan/Roaring Creek jurisdiction. They ended up finding a Maverick Brand, 12-gauge shotgun, loaded with 2 live rounds of ammunition. They also found 140 grams - or just under 5 ounces - of marijuana in the Hattieville Area of Roaring Creek Village.

No one was in the area at the time of the discoveries, and so these illegal items were deposited as found property.
