There was the Southside's version of a mass shooting on Saturday. Five persons were shot - and four of them just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It happened at around 6:30 on Antelope Street Extension frequently a scene for random and targeted violence. Saturday appears to have been a mix of both - as a man well known to police, Robert Lamb was targeted once again - and four bystanders 33-year -old Tyrone Teck, 18 -year -old Kenroy Ramirez, 33 year old Rochelle Reynolds and 28 year old Garisha Tillett were also shot.
ASP Yearwood told us more:
ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Director, Belize Police Department
"Four persons, residents of that yard where the shooting occurred, two of them were walking in the yard and another two were stabbing at the entrance when Lamb passed by and a person known to them only as "Slim" opened fire at Lamb, hitting all five persons. They were transported to the K.H.M.H. and Lamb was treated and released along with two of the other victims."

"All I can say for now is that Mr. Lamb is no stranger to the law and we have seen where within a span of about two months, he has come under fire with his rivals in the street. I wouldn't want to go and say gang affiliated [shooting], but we are certain that he has direct enemies and I am certain that he knows who his enemies are."
Our archives show that the target Robert Lamb has been shot before. v He is among the 3 persons who were treated and released, while Teck is hospitalized in a stable condition.
