A Barmaid And A Bottle And Lashed With A Lizard

Tonight the news has been all about doctors, politicians, royals, and repatriations but we haven't even begun to cover what's really on the minds of Belizeans tonight.

We're referring of course to two on-camera brawls, one involving a barmaid and a bottle and another that saw a man get slapped with a lizard. They don't amount to much, except perhaps a somewhat sad and definitely risible commentary on the times we're living in:

We asked the Commissioner of Police for comment on the bar brawl which happened in Mango Creek, but up to news time, he had not replied.
