It happened at about 3:30 am when 23-year-old Sergio Eck lost control of his blue Nissan Altima while driving from Burrell Book to Scotland Halfmoon.

The vehicle flipped over several times, eventually landing in the bushes on the right side of the road. Eck died on the scene while his passengers sustained various injuries. We learned more about the incident from ASP Fitzroy Yearwood earlier today.

"Sometime around 3:30 AM yesterday police visited a scene where they observed a four-door Nissan Altima extensively damaged off the highway. When they examined the scene properly they found four persons in the nearby bushes, Rasheen flowers 25, Kia Flowers 22, and a 16-year-old minor. Also in that vehicle, the driver of the vehicle actually was Sergio Eck 23 years old who was suffering from severe head and body injuries and died at the location.
