But as we told you he did put out a statement last night. So, while Vaughan has come out chiding his fellow councillor, Goodin is sticking to his story - even if it keeps switching.

In his original statement, the deputy mayor said that following the shooting, a person in his vehicle was grazed and, quote, "…transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment. After he was attended to we drove to the Queen Square Police Station to report the incident." End quote.

However, shortly after he posted that statement, the victim, Shadow Councillor Tae Medina's brother lashed out at Goodin in a comment on Facebook, stating that Goodin never took his brother to the hospital even after Medina told him that he was injured. Instead, Goodin took Medina home and his mother had to take him to get treatment. Medina's brother then claimed that Goodin was not being truthful in his statement, and added that the deputy mayor ignored Medina's conditions, despite Medina's concerns for his own health.

Following that comment, Goodin quickly edited his statement to read, quote, "A person in my vehicle that was grazed was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment by his family. While he was attended to, myself and the rest of occupants drove to the Queen Street Police Station to report the incident." End quote.

And today, Medina's father spoke to us and alleged that indeed, Goodin drove around with Medina while the youth was complaining that he had been shot, and then dropped him at the top of his street, leaving him to walk the rest of the way home.
