Last night Joanne Ysaguirre, a teacher from St. Luke's Methodist primary school, went live on Facebook while in the midst of a work-related anxiety attack.

Her video which has now been seen by thousands of Belizeans has garnered immense sympathy from the public at large and especially from those who've ever felt personally victimized by a superior in the workplace.

And in this one minute clip selected from the 14 minutes live she explains how her intense emotional downturned was sparked when she was called to the principal's office.

Tonight, Ysaguirre has checked herself into the hospital where she feels that medical professionals will be better suited to monitor her emotional and mental well-being.

Via text she's told 7News that quote she and her colleagues from St. Luke's Methodist Primary will, quote: " Be meeting together to decide if we will speak collectively on this situation with the presence of our union."

And while Ysaguirre was in no condition to speak tonight she also told us quote: " My emotions are all over the place but I must say I am overwhelmed with the positive support I have received and I am humbled by this. I am concerned about the other people that I made reference to in my video, I know it is hard on both parties. I wasn't the only person affected and I'm saddened" End quote.

7News visited St. Luke Methodist primary school this morning in an attempt to speak to teachers or members of the administrative staff but we were told by the school warden that the vice principal would not see us.

A release tonight the Ministry of education has said that while they are aware of the video circulating on social media they do not know the circumstances of the particular matter and cannot comment on the allegations made, still they say that they have begun an investigation into the matter.

They add quote: " The (MINISTRY) remains….committed to the mental well-being of our education community, especially as we…navigate these challenging times to actualize our goal to return to full face-to-face instruction at the start of the academic year. " End quote.
