Tonight 34-year-old Sherrianne Tracy remains at the KHMH after a Sunday night beating that's left her incapacitated.
Her mother says she'd been drinking and socializing with her on-again-off-again girlfriend on Sunday night just hours before she was found beaten and laid out on the street.
And while this is a case of domestic abuse it doesn't seem to be partner-on-partner violence. Instead, Tracy seems to have been beaten up by her partner's son.
That alleged beating led to a whole host of injuries and possible brain damage, which the victim's mother was trying to rule out today with a CT Scan.
We spoke to her as Sherianne was being transported to Medical Associates for a CT scan.
Helen Samuels, Mother of Domestic Abuse Victim

"I don't know what occurred. When I came Monday I came to the. Hospital and I saw her but she still hadn't come together good. So, then I asked my daughter what happened and she told me that the gyal who she was going out with her son, beat, punched down my daughter when she was drunk and stamped her up in the face, If my daughter goes around there and gone around there to look for Kim, whatever my daughter and Kim got her son shouldn't interfere in it."
"It's just because my daughter lately got a job anytime my daughter no have no job the woman no want to be around her but as she gets a job you will see her show up her face and she knows that she doesn't mean good for my daughter."
"What he did to my daughter, it's like he wanted to kill my daughter you understand me and I am not happy with him none at all."
Cherisse Halsall:
"Have you made any attempts to press charges against this individual?"
Helen Samuels, Mother of Domestic Abuse Victim
"Yes, I had the police come, I already have the form and everything it's. Just to have her recover so that she can go to the station to do her statement at the station, you understand me. So, right now 2' o'clock we are bringing her out for her to take the CT at medical associates to see if everything is alright on her brain."
As you heard Samuels and her daughter will press charges. Sherrianne intends to make a statement as soon as she is able.
