
Last week, Police in San San Pedro were searching a home for guns and drugs when they came upon a freezer full of out-of season lobster.
In total, the freezer had 255 lobster tails and the only person in the home was Nicaraguan Alita Perez Taylor. In court on Friday, she pleaded guilty to possession of out of -season product and faced a hefty fine.
She was fined $10,000.00 plus $50.00 per each lobster, for a total of $22,750.00 to be paid forthwith.
