Placencia today played host to a major regional meeting. It's the 57th Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Central American Integration System.
And while 6 presidents were invited, none managed to make the trip. Still, major delegates including the Vice Presidents of the Dominican Republic and of El Salvador did make the journey to Belize.
