Coastal Crew Caught Going Equipped For Major Crime

Police may have thwarted a criminal quintet heading south. On Tuesday at around 6:00 in the evening, a quick repose team intercepted a white Ford van with 5 men inside. When police searched the van, they found a number of crowbars, gloves, a big cutter, tie straps and other equipment - in short, the type of stuff that would be used in a burglary or robbery of a well secured facility.

The men were detained at the Dangriga police station for questioning. After consulting with the DPP's office, Dangriga police arrested and charged the 5 males for going equipped. They have been identified as: 42 year old Frank Elijio, 29 year old Demas Zelaya, 22 year old Arnold ALvarez, 44 year old Kenrich Reneau, and 33 year old Randy Slusher.
