An officer accused of drunk driving is out on bail tonight after slamming his personal vehicle into a marked police mobile parked in front of his house on Sunday. 39-year-old,Charles Garcia appeared unrepresented in court today before a Traffic Magistrate and was charged with one count of driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention and one count of failing to provide a specimen. He pleaded not guilty to both charges and was offered bail of $600 which he was able to meet today before noon.
The arresting officer said in his report he suspected PC Charles Garcia was under the influence of alcohol or some drugs after he ran into the marked police mobile parked on Armadillo Street.
