And while that statement is a game changer - tonight, the official status quo remains for Minister of Blue Economy Andres Perez.

In early May, Prime Minister John Briceno received a complaint from Wendy Auxillou - who alleged that she was the victim of sexual harassment by Minister Andre Perez. The PM confirmed to us last night that he spoke to the Minister two weeks later - and he said that he'd had an affair with the woman and it had ended badly. The Prime Minister said that based on that conversation he believed the relationship was a consensual one between two adults and that it was over. He told us that he did not detect anything that met the threshold of misconduct.

So the Prime Minister was the recipient of the only direct complaint made - and he didn't see anything actionable.

But what do Perez's Ministerial colleagues think? Today we spoke to two of them, and they didn't want any of that smoke!:

Jo-
"Would you have any knowledge on the minister whose sexual accusations have come out?"

Louis Zabaneh, Minister of State, Ministry of Education
"I don't know enough of it yet I'm still learning about it and then I could comment after i learn more."

Michel Chebat, Minister of Public Utilities and Logistics
"Ummm I have no comments at all. It is a developing story and I think all sides need to be heard."
