And in one lats nit of crime news, last Friday, we told you about the murder of 42-year-old Trenton Webster who was shot right outside his home on Rasta Street. At the time there was little information surrounding his killing, and his family had no idea who would want him dead and why.

Well, the police have figured it out. Today they arrested one person, and the motive they say he had for killing Webster was excessively loud music.

Here's what ACP Hilberto Romero told us.

ACP Hilberto Romero, OCED
"Information is that Trenton Webster came out of his house to go to the store when he was approached by a lone gun man who fired several shots towards his direction causing his fatal injuries. Trenton Webster was taken to the KHMH where he was pronounced dead on arrival."

"We have identified one suspect, Dorian Anthony, and he was short while ago, apprehended and Roaring Creek, and he will be charged for the crime of murder. Information we have gathered so far is that the deceased and Dorian Anthony had an issue over some loud music."

"They got into an argument and we believe that is what led to this shooting."

Reporter
"What was that argument at the same night?"

ACP Hilberto Romero, OCED
"No, it was a prior argument that happened two days before the shooting incident. We were looking for him here in Belize, he was not found and then we expanded the search and he was found in Roaring Creek. We got information he had some associate."
