And while the Minister is willing to listen to the family of the victim - the question is did he listen to Christian Espat's sister on Friday. She gave us an interview at the magistrates court in Belize City to say she was a witness to his whereabouts on the night of the murder she was with him in Chetumal she claims - along with several other witnesses.
He has also been able to produce a doctor's note, a reliable alibi and his passport stamps to reflect that he was not in the country.
But when we asked the commissioner of police today what he thought about Espat's alibi, we got a huffy response.

"How do you respond to Christian Espats credible Alibi claims of being off the island at the time of the triple murder?"

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Everything is credible to you people everything I wonder if you all would have been in the shoes of the deceased or the victim. Then you would see that his account is credible and this is one of the problems that we have. You always take that opportunity to give your time to stupidness and then want to come and interview me about it. I'm not going to respond no."
Espat is currently on remand for the triple murders.
