Doctor Says He Paid Dealer $65k For Truck, 9 Months Later, Still No Wheels

His Prestige Auto Sales may be the biggest and most high profile used car dealership in Belize, but this morning, Amado Badillo found himself on a police wanted poster.

Caye Caulker Doctor Dimas Sansorez told police that in April of 2023, Badillo took his money - 65,000 dollars of it - and promised to deliver a 2020 Ford Ranger for it - but 9 months later, Badillo hasn't come through with the vehicle.

And, apart from not delivering the vehicle, he says Badillo hasn't shown proof that he has purchased that vehicle, nor has he returned his money.

We spoke to Badillo who said he's been at his office all day and has not been contacted by police for his side of the story. He says he can easily explain everything. We'll keep following the story...
