And while this mother hopes that the police does a thorough investigation, we asked the ComPol about another case. This one is an incident of rape involving a child. The girl was allegedly raped by the same man twice, once when she was 13 and again when she was 15. Williams said that the Ministry of Human Development will need to intervene.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police

"I guess something needs to be done in terms of whoever had the child. I'm told the child left home and said that she was going to some relative and went to the same man who was accused of raping her and again, the man raped her. I don't see what the police can do in situations like those but certainly there is a need for Human Development to look at whoever had the child to see what error they may have made and see what can be to make sure the child is with someone who can take better care of that child."
