Two nights ago we told you about the foiled robbery at Casa churros Mini Cafe which resulted in the shooting death of 19 year old Leroy Smith. The teenager got into a struggle with the business owner and ends dup getting fatally shot.

Well, today his alleged accomplices and the getaway taxi man, who police caught after the failed robbery, went to court.

They are 24-year-old Call Center Agent, Malique Chavez, 19-year-old, Leroy Anthony Garoy both linked to the Taylor's Alley gang. The duo is accused of breaking into the home of Michael Cambranes on Freetown Road whilst armed with a firearm and stealing 1 gold bracelet and cell phone.

Both Garoy and Chavez pleaded not guilty but were denied bail and remanded.

Second to be arraigned was Taxi-Driver, 45-year-old, Harvey Sambula. He is accused of purposely aiding the robbers so he was charged with abetment to burglary. It's a bailable offence but police objected and, in his defence, Sambula told the court quote, "I am not a street figure and I was simply doing a taxi job." Still he was denied bail and remanded.

Notable the accused Leroy Garoy is the younger sibling of Leroy Smith, the robber who was shot dead.
