And after a 16 day family vacation in Japan, the Prime Minister also didn't seem too exerted about the theft of an entire safe from the Dangriga treasury building.

On Monday robbers turned off the power to the building, broken and snatched the whole safe. So far no arrests have been made, the safe has not been recovered and there's been no announcement on just how much was in there.

It is believed to have been an inside job and the PM dimly offered that he hopes the guilty parties are caught:

John Briceno, Prime Minister
"In many instances, whenever you have this kind of form of crime or burglaries and robberies in any institution or or business. Most of the time it's because there's an inside job that somebody from within tells them what's going on, where to go and so forth. So I am appealing to the police to investigate and try to find the perpetrator."

"But at the same time, if it is an inside job for us to try to find who are the people that are giving all this information. And when we find them, that we deal with them using the justice system."

Reporter:
"Are you able to say how much money went missing? Or you have'nt..."

John Briceno, Prime Minister
"No, I have not been informed as yet. I probably. I am thinking that they're probably trying to find out and to ascertain the exact amount."

In March of last year Burglars stole 40 Grand From Dangriga Sub Treasury and no one was arrested.
