There was an aggravated burglary yesterday in Burrell Boom village by two masked men who seized upon two women and held them up inside their home
Thankfully neither of them were harmed, but the assailants ransacked their home and made off with a number of items of value.
ACP Hilberto Romero told us how it happened.

"On Sunday, the 18th of August 2024, police responded to a report of an aggravated burglary at Burrell boom Village. Upon the arrival of the complainant, who reported that she was at home alone with her mother when they were approached by two more persons who were in camouflage clothing, the two persons took out a knife and a machete and held them up in search the house and stole, three watches his cell phone and some cash. Thereafter, the male persons fled from the area. We are conducting an investigation to this report and so far no suspects have been detained."
