Two weeks ago, there was a daring daylight robbery in downtown Orange Walk. Using a hammer and a pistol - two gunmen held up a pickup with employees of Triple A Imports and robbed them of the day's deposits - which included a substantial amount of cash. During the escape, they crashed a chevy Equinox into the mayor's vehicle. For the 12 days since, police have been looking for that Equinox with no success and tonight Triple A is circulating a picture of it and offering a cash reward.
They say they will pay for "any information leading to locating this vehicle or any information on the Triple A Imports robbery that occurred in Orange Walk Town on Friday, June 27, 2025." The vehicle was last seen in the Ship Yard Area.
Those who may have seen it are asked to call or message 635-6842.
