We also asked Rosado about the traffic death of one of his police officers, Constable Arcenio Cus who was killed in a hit and run in late July.
But, one man did step forward to take responsibility, yet, three weeks later, there are no charges.
That suspect is also named Rosado. So, we asked if he is a relative:

"I do know that the investigators have collected certain evidential material they have collected video footage and I do know that they have collected samples that I have forwarded to the forensic lab and we are awaiting determination from the forensic lab before the file is forwarded back to the DPP Office for her advice."

"How would you respond to the individuals that are saying is your cousin and that is why charges are not being pressed as yet?"

"Not because someone bears the same surname they are related. We bear the same surname but we are not related."

"So you are saying on the record that you guys are not related?"
Dr Richard Rosado, Commissioner of Police
"I have never met the individual before I have never seen the individual except for when it was shown on the TV we have never had any discussion with that individual so I am not sure who is that individual."
