Luisville Teacher Charged For Rape of Minor

A teacher in the Corozal District has been charged for three counts of rape and Sexual Assault against a minor.

The girl - who is now 17 - and her mother alleged that between January and March 2024 a teacher had sex with her against her will.

After a medical examination was conducted the doctor certified that the girl had been carnally known. Statements were recorded and the file forwarded to the DPP for advice. As a result police yesterday formally arrested and charged 40 year old Fausto Burgos, a Teacher of Louisville Village for the crime of 3 counts of rape and the crime of sexual assault.
