51 year old Bernard Talbert was today charged for the murder of his brother-in-law, 52-year-old, Stephen Henry Jorgenson, which occurred more than a year ago. It happened on Rio Bravo Crescent, in Belize City where the relatives had an argument over a land dispute.
Talbert was recently deported from the US and was immediately detained upon return pending the murder charge.
Today in court, he was read a single charge of murder and remanded to Prison until December 10, 2025.
