So, that is a recap of the weekend's gang violence - but there was also another killing, apparently in self defence, and a vicious chopping. We'll have those later, but looking at Sunday's two homicides brought it to a total of 7 murders since September 8th when Compol Richard Rosado was put on leave.

And that's in a year when murders were on trend to reach a record low. So is it the acting Comp's fault? That's what we asked him today:

Bart Jones, Ag Commissioner of Police
"While majority are gang related, there are there are a number of those that are, are not connected with, or so far the the information is not connected with the gang activity, but the gang activities, of course, accounts for majority of the incidents."

Jules Vasquez
"But since it has happened on your watch, would you say that it's attributable, attributable to your leadership?"

Bart Jones, Ag Commissioner of Police
"I wouldn't, I wouldn't, I wouldn't say that because, it may very well be, despite who is in the seat that these things would have occurred."

"And so we have not, we have not shifted from any operational focus that we have done, even before Doctor Rosado took the seat,. so we've we've not changed in terms of our operation. So these things do in fact happen despite whosoever is in the seat. It is okay. I take responsibility because I am I am the acting commissioner. Just. No, but but certainly it is not one that I see well attributed to me personally."
