So while Jones said there will be enhanced police operations and checkpoints by specialized units in the city - along with mediation by the LIU -will there be an SOE? Jones said he is not recommending one:

"Having spoken to the commanders, today and having this having discussions with, the, the Mr. Dawson from the LIU, I am probably of the view that we are not we are not there yet in terms of an SOE, so we will try to see what we can do to address the situation."
