Ex-police officer Frederick Garcia is claiming that he's being harassed by another cop. The Caye Caulker resident came to our studio today after a needless visit to court and explained that the officer intentionally ordered him to attend court for a matter that was already closed. But he believes the cop has it out for him. Here's what he told us.

"I went to court two weeks ago for maintenance and the case concluded and I'm supposed to pay $150 every Friday to my ex wife. Last week, we finished off the case, sometime in last week the man, Mr Alvarez went to my house, picked me up and took me to stations for a summons. And when I saw the summons, it's the same thing that happened two weeks ago so I explained to Mr Alvarez, come on brother, this case is finished. The man said the family court sent a summons to him to give him and when I saw the date it was the same one I went the week before. So he scratched off the date off the summons and he put the 29th which is today. When I went to family court today, they didn't have anything for me there. And one of the police woman told me but you already came here and the case concluded so how comes Mr Alvarez gave you a next summons and I said well you have to ask him. And this is happening not only today but from two, three months ago this man is harassing me. And I'm really frustrated, I'm tired of it."
Jules Vasquez:
"But you're an old police, you know nobody stone empty mango tree. So maybe he's pressuring you because he feels you're involved in other things."
Frederick Garcia, Alleges Police Harassment
"Yeah you want me to tell you what he's harassing me for? The man is having affair with my adopted daughter. I'm sure of that. And me and my adopted daughter aren't agreeing right now so every little thing that happens in my house, my adopted daughter would call this man and he would just come for me."
Jules Vasquez:
"So you think he's taking a personal grievance?"
Frederick Garcia, Alleges Police Harassment
"It's personal things and I could make it personal myself, I could make things happen too but I'm not really into that kind of situation but like I tell you, I've gotten enough of it."
Garcia says his expenses for the needless trip amount to over one hundred dollars.
