As you heard in our last segment - former police Minister Kareem Musa feels the children of Belize are safer because a citizen, Joseph Budna was extrajudicially extradited - apparently by police - to Guatemala, which is a hostile country.
Well, Budna will disagree - and he continues to exert all efforts to try and prove that police did it. He has unearthed footage he captured in July of 2025 when the vehicle that abducted him first started following him.

Back in September, we identified this 2013 silver GMC Equinox as the one that abducted Joseph Budna.
Well, Budna has now produced this footage from his email archive. He says this is the GMC that was following him in July - and he believes it is the one that abducted him that night.
When we checked with our sources the license plate - BZ - 48232 - is traced back to a 52 year old male in the Cayo district - although police sources say it was rented from an outfit in Belize City.
We'll be following up on that - but the footage of the likely suspect vehicle is one more missing piece in a kidnapping mystery that police seem to be in no rush to solve.
We have confirmed that it is indeed the same model and year of vehicle that abducted Budna - but the color in the abduction video remains unclear- so we cannot say it is a 100% match.
