And while police on the scene told us that the murders may have emerged from village beef, the Staff Officer says Webster was in fact wanted in connection to a robbery.

"What the investigation has disclosed so far is that both Webster and Alvarez were in a group of 4 or so male persons when they were fired upon."
"It is an ongoing investigation, there have been some developments that were made in the course of this investigation and the media will be advised as more information is known."
"What I can say is that one of the male persons I believe Mr Webster was in fact a person of interest in relation to a report that was made a robbery report."
