Second OW Rural Murder In 26 Hours Targets Water Delivery Man

There have been two murders reported in rural Orange Walk in the last 26 hours. The first was discovered yesterday afternoon in Santa Martha village - where a 70 year old was killed. Another happened at 4:30 this afternoon in Chan Pine Ridge village - where a Zeta delivery man was killed and his co worker injured.

The pair were targeted in a robbery and driver Roberto Villafranco was killed on the spot with a headshot. His side-man, Felipe Vasquez, was shot to the chest but managed to get away and ran to a nearby gas station for assistance. He remains hospitalized in a stable condition.
