With 2027 municipal elections less than a year away, the three term Mayor of Belize City is on the last leg of his final term. And while he's got months left, he today said he will work right up to February 2027:

"I serve up until February the 27th of 2027 and I intend to fully complete my term and to carry out the functions and the powers of my office right up until that date."
